Daily maintenance tips:
About boiling - Before use, make 1-2 rice porridge to fill the gaps and prevent leakage.
Pay attention to maintenance - Wipe the pot body clean, and keep the outside of the earthen pot moist to reduce the risk of cracking during heating.
About heating - Heat up at medium to low heat uniformly, then turn to low heat to slow cook after boiling, so that the ingredients can be more flavorful.
Cleaning burnt pot - Soak in warm water and use a scouring pad dipped in baking soda to gently wipe it off.
Avoid overflow - It is recommended not to fill the pot with food over eight-tenths full to prevent splashing out when boiling.
No dry burning - Dry burning will damage the stability of the pot, greatly affecting its service life.
Instructions for use:
After the food boils, immediately turn down the heat and open the lid slightly to prevent overflow.
When cooking porridge, stir as much as possible to prevent sticking to the pot.
When simmering (e.g., clay pot rice), do not immediately open the lid after turning off the heat. Let the ingredients simmer for about 15 minutes, which will better lock in the nutrients and aroma of the food.
Try not to dry burn, as it will damage the stability of the pot and have some impact on the lifespan of the pot.
Precautions:
If left unattended during cooking, food may burn. Please pay attention to the heat and stir the ingredients in the pot during the cooking process.
The earthen pot is absorbent and may leave marks if burned. Please do not cook anything dry or empty in the earthen pot.
Do not give the earthen pot a strong impact, such as collision or falling. When using the earthen pot for cooking on an electric stove, at least 1 cm of space should be left between the heating elements.
If you store the earthen pot in the refrigerator for freezing, please fully thaw it before heating.
Before using the earthen pot about five times, avoid cooking heavily seasoned food. Also, please do not leave food or other items in the earthen pot.
