Tsumura's Kampo Formula
"Daishichoto" is a Kampo medicine described in the original Kampo texts "Shanghan Lun" and "Jingui Yaolue." It is used for treating gastritis, stiff shoulders associated with high blood pressure or obesity, and chronic constipation in people with a sturdy, physically active build who tend to be constipated.
"Tsumura Kampo Daisaikoto Extract Granules" are easy-to-take granules made from an extract of "Daishichoto."
Consultations
1. The following people should consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered distributor before taking this product:
(1) Anyone currently receiving medical treatment from a doctor.
(2) Pregnant women or those suspected to be pregnant.
(3) Those in poor health (those with declining physical strength or weak constitutions).
(4) Those with weak stomachs and prone to diarrhea.
(5) Those who have previously experienced rashes, redness, itching, etc. due to medication.
2. If the following symptoms occur after taking this medicine, they may be side effects. Discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered distributor with this leaflet.

Symptoms: Diarrhea accompanied by severe abdominal pain, abdominal pain
In rare cases, the following serious symptoms may occur.
If this occurs, consult a doctor immediately.
Name of symptom: Interstitial pneumonia
Symptoms: Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing when climbing stairs or exerting yourself slightly, dry cough, fever, etc., which may appear suddenly or persist.
Name of symptom: Liver dysfunction
Symptoms: Fever, itching, rash, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes), brown urine, general fatigue, loss of appetite, etc.
3. The following symptoms may occur after taking this product. If these symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered distributor with this leaflet.
Diarrhea.
4. Approximately one month (5-6 days if taking this product for chronic constipation, or constipation associated with high blood pressure or obesity).
If symptoms do not improve after taking this product, discontinue use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered distributor with this leaflet.
Efficacy/Effects
For those who are physically fit and experience discomfort from the flank to the solar plexus, and tend to be constipated, but are also experiencing the following symptoms: gastritis, chronic constipation, stiff shoulders, headaches, and constipation associated with high blood pressure or obesity, neurosis, and obesity.
Dosage/Administration
Take the following amount with water or hot water before meals.
Age: Adults (15 years and older)
Single Dose: 1 packet (1.875g)
Dose: 2 times per day
Age: 7 years and older, under 15 years
Single Dose: 2/3 packet
Dose: 2 times per day
Age: 4 years and older, under 7 years
Single Dose: 1/2 packet
Dose: 2 times per day
Age: 2 years and older, under 4 years
Single Dose: 1/3 packet
Dose: 2 times per day
Do not use if under 2 years old
