Measures against Norovirus (Norovirus): All products are designed to help prevent Norovirus infection. Prevention points: ● Cook shellfish like oysters thoroughly. For oysters, cooking at 85°C for at least 1 minute eliminates infectivity. ● For food handlers and care staff, thorough handwashing is effective. Since alcohol disinfectants may not be fully effective against Norovirus, washing with soap and water is essential. ● Disinfect cooking utensils with 0.02% sodium hypochlorite (bleach) or boil at 85°C for over 1 minute. ● Norovirus is present in vomit and feces of infected persons. When handling, remove with paper towels and seal in a plastic bag before disposal. Disinfect contaminated areas with 0.1% sodium hypochlorite (bleach). During disinfection, wear disposable gloves, masks, and aprons to prevent infection, and wash hands thoroughly afterward.
