Ken-e Citric Acid [25g]

Product Features ■ This is a food additive containing more than 99.5% crystalline citric acid. One lemon or two umeboshi (pickled plums) contain about 4g of citric acid. With this product, you can easily make lactic acid beverages and shiso juice.

How to Consume ■ How to Make Lactic Acid Beverage
(Ingredients) 300ml milk, 500g sugar, 2g citric acid, 7ml lactic acid, a small amount of essence
1. Put 300ml of milk and 500g of sugar into a pot and warm while stirring well.
2. When the sugar dissolves, increase the heat and warm up to 70°C, then immediately remove from heat and let it cool naturally.
3. When it cools down to 45°C, add 2g citric acid and 7ml lactic acid, mix well to dissolve, and add a small amount of essence to finish.
4. Dilute about 5 times before drinking.

■ How to Make Shiso Juice
(Ingredients)
400g red shiso leaves, 1kg sugar, 25g citric acid, 2L water
1. Put water in a pot and bring to a boil. Add thoroughly washed red shiso leaves, bring to a boil again, then turn off the heat and let it cool.
2. Squeeze out the red shiso leaves well and remove them. Add sugar to the broth and heat again to dissolve.
3. When it cools down, add citric acid and mix well. The color will turn red and the shiso pigment will become vivid.
4. After cooling, strain through cloth or similar, chill well, dilute, and enjoy.

Cautions (1) If it gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with running water for at least 15 minutes.
(2) If it gets on the skin, wash thoroughly with soap and rinse off.
(3) Keep out of reach of children.
(4) Avoid direct sunlight and store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place as much as possible.
(5) Be careful as storing in places with extreme high or low temperatures or drastic temperature changes may cause lumps (solidification).
(Storage Method) Airtight container. Store at room temperature.
