Product Name
Cutban Repair Pad
Certification Number
228ADBZX00027000
Product Features
This product consists of a hydrocolloid pad as the absorbent layer and a backing release paper, individually packaged in sterile paper.
The hydrocolloid material absorbs and retains body fluids (exudate) from wounds, swelling into a white gel that creates a moist environment conducive to healing.
Body fluids (exudate) contain factors that promote cell growth and regeneration—“healing components”—which play an important role in wound healing.
Note: The hydrocolloid material turns white and swells when absorbing moisture; this is not a product defect. Also, if the applied area sweats, the hydrocolloid may absorb the moisture and become white.
Contents
Large size (30mm × 70mm), 8 sheets per pack
Indications and Effects
For protection, maintenance of a moist environment, promotion of healing, and pain relief of minor cuts, abrasions, puncture wounds, scratches, chapped skin, hangnails, blisters from shoes, and minor burns.
How to Use
This product differs from regular adhesive bandages; please confirm the instructions and use correctly.
- When using on children aged 3 years or older, use under adult supervision.
- Before application, clean the wound and surrounding skin with running water and thoroughly dry to maintain cleanliness.
- Perform hemostasis on the application site before applying.
- Use a product larger than the wound.
- After application, the pad absorbs and retains exudate oozing from the wound, turning white and swelling as it gels. As healing progresses, exudate secretion decreases, and the white swelling reduces with each replacement.
- If there is excessive exudate leaking from or soiling the product, remove it, wash the wound thoroughly with running water, and replace with a new one to keep the wound clean.
- When applying to fingers or similar areas, avoid wrapping too tightly.
- Observe the wound daily while wearing the product. If signs of infection (e.g., redness, pus discharge, fever, swelling, foul odor) appear, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor for appropriate treatment.
- Prolonged inability of the hydrocolloid to absorb exudate may cause maceration. Removing the product in a macerated state may cause epidermal peeling. If the entire edge of the product turns white, replace it promptly. Continuous application up to 5 days is possible, but discontinue immediately if infection symptoms appear.
- Dents or unevenness in the product may be observed but are not quality issues as they occur during manufacturing.
- Small brownish spots are derived from raw materials and do not affect quality.
[How to Remove]
Gently pull the edge of the product sideways several times and peel it off slowly. If difficult to remove, warm water applied between the skin and product will ease removal. Be careful not to cause bleeding or remove regenerated skin.

(2) No improvement or worsening occurs after several days of use
★ Other Precautions
1) The product is sterile unless the packaging is damaged; do not use if packaging is broken or soiled.
