KUO YUAN YE is a renowned Taiwanese bakery with a long history dating back to 1708, when ancestors of the Kuo family left Fujian, China to make a new home in what is now Taipei, Taiwan. In the generations since it began, it has grown from a small mudbrick shop to a staple of Taiwanese culture, preserving traditional baking methods and innovating new techniques and flavors.
