Q&A

What is Spring Picked Biluochun Green Tea?

Spring Picked Biluochun is a Chinese green tea from the Dongting Mountain region of Jiangsu, China. It is known for its tightly curled leaves, floral aroma, and sweet, refreshing cup.

What does this tea taste like?

It tastes sweet, fresh, and lightly nutty, with a smooth texture and a clean finish. The aroma is distinctly floral, which adds to the tea’s delicate character.

Does this tea contain caffeine?

Yes. Green tea naturally contains caffeine, and the strength can vary depending on how much leaf you use and how long you steep it.

Is this tea bitter?

It is typically not bitter when brewed with cooler water and a short steep. Too much heat or a long infusion can bring out more astringency, so gentle brewing works best.

How many times can I steep this tea?

You can steep Biluochun multiple times. Later infusions usually become lighter and softer, while still keeping some of the tea’s floral character.

What's the difference between loose leaf and tea bags?

Loose leaf tea gives the leaves more room to open, which usually brings out fuller aroma, clearer flavor, and better balance. Tea bags are more convenient, but loose leaf is often the better choice for a tea like Biluochun.

How long does shipping take?

Orders usually ship within 1-3 business days.

Where do you ship from?

We ship from California, USA.
