Alaska chasing the aurora 💚
Next time The day after the hot spring We will leaveFairbanks to go to Empty camp and Coldfoot campandWisemanKeep Chasing the Auroras Camp Yukon andWiseman< /span>Both are great places to see the Northern Lights Because there is no city light there and both places are very famous Actually during the nightsFairbanksthe nights We all went to Fairbanksoutside suburban cabins for observation Aurora but unfortunately None of us caught a single aurora
Put a few photos of the aurora taken in Wisemanfor the cover I will introduce it to my friends in detail later

First We will pass by Yukon Camp for lunch and then finally to
/span>Coldfoot campOne night stay We took the bus from FairbankstoColdfoot camp (approximately 8-10hours by car) Then stay in Frozen Feet for one night and fly back the next morning in a small plane (flight time of two hours)Fairbanks all of these items are included in the tour
Sounds8-10hour drive is scary But the bus actually stops and goes When I arrive at certain scenic spots, I will stop and let tourists get off the bus to watch and take pictures The bus I took was a female driver (Foreigners) is very powerful. He can also be a tour guide and give us various explanations while driving. I admire it very much

The picture above is a well-known pipeline (oil pipeline) in Alaska that can be connected to various remote areas of Alaska It is not easy to build over mountains and mountains

I slept in the above picture and then the tour guide let us go down to take pictures and nostalgia Dalton Highway Also known as the most dangerous road in the world also one of the loneliest roads in the world Here is the viewDalton Highway feel free to feel it Icy and barren

And then this 8-10hour drive also includes a leap to the North Pole And then at the end of the ride, you will be awarded a certificate of certification for flying over the Arctic Circle🤣 I didn't take pictures of the certificate Below are the landmarks of the Arctic Circle

At the final destinationColdfoot camp(Coldfoot camp) is already It's night it's dark The camp has a small airport a restaurant span>A souvenir shop A small hotel Then we went to the only restaurant in Frozen Feet for dinner fried chicken and chips

After dinner Meet at the hotel entrance The tour guide drove us to a small Wiseman Aurora Viewing from the Cabin ActuallyWisemanis the guy in the picture aboveWisemanis his title (name?village's names begin withWisemanhis name Name He should be a very famous local person He also hosted us that day also chatted with us a lot< span class="s2"> How do I live in this kind of place I grow my own fields, chop wood and hunt He said a very interesting thing is Where I liveAmazon express delivery to (AmazonIt can be said to be very powerful)
A starry night Wisemanwaiting for the aurora< span class="s2"> very, very, very beautiful ( The higher the visibility, the greater the chance of seeing the aurora) I think I saw this for the first time in my 20year-old Lots of stars in the sky and very bright! However, it started falling within half an hour🌧️raining span>At that time, our group was really invincible and frustrated And there was snow in the rain span>❄️ There are no stars at dawn It was all cloudy and very cold Even the large outdoor oven was nearly doused I waited for several hours during the period and still did not get the aurora At this time, many tourists were I have returned to the hotel early to rest
However, our group is still reluctant to go back Still waiting silently in the cold< /span> Finally maybe true The thing is that we are moved.😂 There are so many in the sky A ribbon-like white light source We all rushed to take pictures with our cameras and phones I think the aurora I saw that day should be in the first class or less In fact, the aurora seen by the naked eye are white faint Only pictures taken with a camera phone are colored (green) Green auroras are the weakest type of aurora very common But it's very satisfying for us

Yes The aurora I photographed that day were the two on the cover at the beginning image I explain it here Why do I need a jigsaw puzzle? Mainly because I didn't have a camera to go to see the aurora this time span> So I use Apple7Photos taken with my phone Includes my previous Alaska travel notes It's all taken with an iPhone and then there are some simple color grading in my later stage Or simply the original image. Then these two aurora puzzles are completely 100% original images No post color correction Apple The aurora captured by mobile phones is the worst (Huawei phones can capture aurora) with Apple's own camera is unable to capture aurora I can shoot the aurora here because I downloaded a special app(this appcallednorthe rnlights) this is a paid software but not expensive span> It seems like 0.99knife The effect is very noisy Can't see it when zoomed in but this is not thisapp wrong is the effect of the original lens of the iPhone shot at night It's very bad. But like me, it can still be seen when it is reduced to make a puzzle After all, I shot the aurora with my own hands! Very precious😭

The next morning10the next morning we were in this small plane Leave Go backFairbanks However, after two failed test flights the captain told us that the plane was malfunctioning and needed repairs I was scared to death😭 It was the first time I took this kind of small airliner Too scary

We will rest at camp while the captain is servicing the aircraft I will Stop by for breakfast Fries with fried shrimp With a reindeer sausage (first time eating reindeer Not bad It's delicious but a little salty😋)

A close-up of the reindeer sausage~

We had breakfast and the plane was fixed then we headed back to the small airport for a ride Get on the plane and leaveColdfoot camp on the plane)

Finally, of course safe landing~ Happy and happy
Actually we were able to fly back that dayFairbanksIt can be said to be very, very fortunate Because the first travelers who went to Frozenfoot with 30- 40multiple people but small planes only< span class="s2">8personal and I was the only one sitting that day Listen to the passengers coming back < /span>They didn't have a plane back It was down that day< span class="s2"> they can only take one more ride8 Fairbanks so I can say I was very, very lucky that day If you let me sit again8 come back in more than 8 hours I might just sit down and lose my temper.😭😭😭 Thank you Thanks~
The above is all about watching the aurora Thank you for seeing this😊

We are also looking at the itinerary of the car to fly back, politely ask if you think it is worthwhile to go to coldfoot for a night?
