[Xiuyang Sharing] Memories kill, I was a freshman

Hey, when I see this topic, I am very emotional. Think it's almost a year since we arrived in the United States. 🐑Yes17Year8Month21 to the United States.

Before I was in China, I thought I was unfamiliar with this place, so I thought about choosing a place to stay.homestay< span class="s1">Transition, after all, it feels like home, and home-mom manages three meals a day .

I was very apprehensive before coming here. Fortunately, when I was in China, the airport pick-up and accommodation were all connected, so I settled down smoothly!

I stayed athomestay for two months, the environment is very good, this homestay The owner is also good, the only drawback is that he doesn't like to cook, and the food is so-soIt is an incentive🐑An opportunity to embark on the path of Sheep Chef.

👇The noodles she made for us were not fully cooked. I'm a little tired. Just put some soy sauceUneven salt taste span>The face is also cluttered

This is her fried dish👇There is very little meat for three meals, No oil and water, hungry every day

The advantage is that the environment is not bad, so Sheep took a lot of photos at her house at that time, very American! Share with Yami's friends.

👇It is the living room with good light transmission. The post-adjustment light is really beautiful!

Photos of her family were placed on the small table.

This is the doorway, I especially like the glass, it's beautiful.

👇This is one of my favorite photos!

The learning environment is very good, and the window is green.

You can also see deer outside.

However, it is too far from the school, she only accepts all-inclusive, that is, accommodation plus meals, but she often does not cook on time, and the cooked rice is difficult to describeSheep moved to something else after two monthsapt

Although the environment is far less than here, I am free and I have learned to cook a lot of delicious food.🐑I feel that I have gained a lot!

Experience:

homestayAs a transition, it is still acceptable. If you live for a long time, it depends on all aspects of your home. The good ones are still very good, and they will give you infinite care like family members.

In fact, it is set in ChinaaptIt is also very good! It is not as uncomfortable as I imagined, it is better to be closer to the school, the point is that it is very convenient!

Yes, I was nervous to call the locals when I first came out! I'm afraid that I can't say it well and I'm afraid that I won't understand it, but you must be bold and have the courage to try. Just hit it a few more times! Learn by doing! Don't be afraid if you make a mistake, just saysorry if you don't understand, and the other party will explain it to you slowly.

There is a big difference between Chinese and British and American phone calls.

Talk in English to learn the following points:

1. When the caller is connected, they can say:Hello span>! Continue:This is sb.speaking./Could(May)I speak to sb.?/Is sb.in?

But don't ask:Who are you?

The caller can say:Hello! Good morning/afternoon/evening. Then tell the other person your name. Such as:This is Jim speaking.

2. Ask who the person is, Don't say:Who are you ? Say:Who's that speaking(calling)?/May I have your name? /Is that sb. (speaking)?

3.To answer the phone on behalf of someone, it is best to say:What name shall I give?/Who shall Isay is calling?

To leave and call someone, say:Hold the line, please.I'll get him/her to phone.(Don't hang up, I'll find him (her) Listen to the phone. ) or Hold on for a moment.(Please wait a moment.) Conversely, if the person you are calling is nearby, The person answering the call can say: It's for you.orFor you. (Your phone.)

4. If the person to call is not available, The person answering the phone can say:Sorry, he/she isn't in. orI'm afraid he/she is o ut.(He/she is not.)

If asked if they want to leave a message, say:May I take a message for you? /Can Itake a messag e?/Would you like to leave a message?

When the caller wants to ask the receiver to tell the person he is looking for something, Ask:Could you take a message for me?/Please tell him (her)that(< span class="s3">sth.)……./Tell him(her)I called./Will you please tell him (her)to call me back later?

Keep it up. Hope you all get better!

This is sb.speaking./CouldMayI speak to sb.?/Is sb.in?

Who are you

This is Jim speaking.

2. 问对方是谁, 不说:Who are you 而应说:Who's that speakingcalling?/May I have your name? /Is that sb. speaking)?

What name shall I give?/Who shall Isay is calling?

Hold the line,please.I'll get him/her to phone.(别挂断,我就去找他(她)听电话。 )或Hold on for a moment.(请等一会儿。) It's for you.For you.

Sorry,he/she isn't in.I'm afraid he/she is o ut.(他/她不在。)

May I take a message for you? /Can Itake a messag e?/Would you like to leave a message?

Could you take a message for me?/Please tell him herthatsth.……./Tell himherI called./Will you please tell him herto call me back later?
