本品選用雲南省臨滄市勐庫鎮冰島老寨2003年春純料為原料，冰島是雙江縣著名的古代產茶村，以盛產冰島大葉種茶而聞名，香氣飄逸，味厚，澀少，苦味在舌尖速化，生津快，苦化甘而持久，喝著茶湯，嗅著茶香，總覺得這冰島的茶與大自然相生相隨相伴，其湯與清泉的甘冽息息相關，其香也自自然然不事張揚。

推薦三步醒茶法：
1.茶罐醒茶：茶餅拆開後，在醒茶罐中放置一周左右，這個過程中跟空氣接觸，慢慢蘇醒，茶性逐步追上實際年份。
2.溫壺醒茶：這個過程可以喚醒茶葉內質，激發老茶的香氣。紫砂壺溫壺後直接投茶加蓋，茶葉在溫度和壺內水汽的作用下身段變軟，細胞舒展，做好迎接沖泡的準備。
3.沖泡醒茶：第一道醒茶可以適當放緩出湯時間，讓茶葉靜置10秒左右，第二道起正常出湯，至十道以上再逐步增加悶泡時長。
沖泡老茶需用100°C沸水沖泡，只有高溫才能逼出老茶的內質與香氣，泡茶剛性韻味。
