This 2017 aged “Xialu Hua Brick Tea” carries the rich character shaped by remote mountain terroir and generations of traditional dark tea craftsmanship. Produced using time-honored techniques from a historic tea factory, this tea develops a deep and layered flavor profile with a pure, elevated aroma and distinctive wild character. The tea brick features a smooth, compact surface with clearly defined textures and a glossy dark brown appearance that reflects its careful aging and craftsmanship.
Designed for modern convenience, the tea brick is divided into easy-break single-serving chunks, allowing for effortless brewing without the need for a tea pick. Each piece brews into a bright amber-golden liquor with a smooth, rich texture and abundant tea compounds that create depth and body in every infusion. The tea soup feels thick, silky, and satisfying on the palate, making it ideal for slow daily enjoyment.
As the tea opens up, notes of wildflower honey emerge naturally alongside the deep aged aroma unique to traditional Chinese dark tea. The flavor is bold yet refined, with a powerful lingering sweetness that rises quickly after each sip. The leaves are thick and substantial, with dark brown tones touched by hints of olive-green, revealing the richness of the material used to craft this tea. Full-bodied, warming, and deeply aromatic, this aged Hua Brick Tea offers a lingering mountain character and a long-lasting sweet finish.
