The new "Reduced-Salt Kayanoya Dashi" is designed to deliver the same satisfying flavor experience as the classic Kayanoya Dashi, while utilizing a higher proportion of dashi ingredients. Compared to our previous reduced-salt dashi products, this new version offers a richer aroma and a deeper, more robust umami flavor. The salt content has been reduced by 53% (0.49g of salt per sachet). Although the increased use of dashi ingredients results in a relatively higher level of naturally occurring sodium, no table salt has been added to the product. We recommend this reduced-salt version to those mindful of their salt intake as well as to cooking enthusiasts.
