Hangeshashinto is a Kampo formula included in the classic text "Shang Han Lun," which is said to be the original source of Kampo medicine. It is used for people with moderate physical strength who feel a constriction in the epigastric area, sometimes experience nausea and vomiting, have poor appetite, abdominal rumbling, and a tendency toward loose stools or diarrhea. It is indicated for gastroenteritis, diarrhea, loose stools, indigestion, gastroptosis, neurogenic gastritis, weak stomach, hangover, heartburn, stomatitis, and similar conditions.

Precautions for Use
Consultation Required
In the following cases, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist with this document:
(1) If the following symptoms appear after taking the medicine:
　Affected area: Skin
　Symptoms: Rash, itching
(2) If symptoms do not improve after taking the medicine for a while.

Efficacy and Effects
For those with moderate physical strength who feel a constriction in the epigastric area, sometimes experience nausea, vomiting, poor appetite, abdominal rumbling, and a tendency toward loose stools or diarrhea, the following symptoms:
　Acute and chronic gastroenteritis, diarrhea, loose stools, indigestion, gastroptosis, neurogenic gastritis, weak stomach, hangover, belching, heartburn, stomatitis, neurosis

Dosage and Administration
Take the following amount three times a day before or between meals with water or warm water.
　Adults (15 years and older): 1 packet
　7 years and older but under 15 years: 2/3 packet
　4 years and older but under 7 years: 1/2 packet
　Under 4 years: Do not administer

Per 3 packets (6 g):
Hangeshashinto A water-based extract: 3.9 g
　Pinellia Tuber (Hange): 4.0 g
　Scutellaria Root (Ogon): 2.0 g
　Ginger (Kankyo): 2.0 g
　Ginseng (Ninjin): 2.0 g
　Licorice (Kanzo): 2.0 g
　Jujube (Taiso): 2.0 g
　Coptis Rhizome (Oren): 0.8 g

Additives include lactose, cellulose, partially alpha-starch, calcium stearate, and anhydrous silica.

Storage and Handling Precautions
(1) Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) If a packet is divided for use, fold the packaging back properly and consume the remainder within 2 days.
(4) Do not transfer to other containers (this may cause misuse or quality changes).
(5) Use within the expiration date indicated on the outer box.
