■ "Butter Sandwich (Mitsuimo Butter)," a delightful combination of sweet potato and butter.
Made with domestically produced Anno sweet potato paste and powder*, this set is filled with a generous amount of gooey sweet potato butter caramel and rich sweet potato butter cream.
The key to its deliciousness is the combination of the sweet potato's sweetness and the melting butter. Caramel chips are kneaded into the crispy cookies to represent the sweetness overflowing from the sweet potato skin, giving them a caramelized, glossy appearance and a crunchy, fragrant texture. Maple sugar is also kneaded into the cookies, creating a deep flavor perfect for autumn and winter. *Annou sweet potatoes account for 98% of the sweet potato ingredients used.
■Butter Sandwich, a favorite since the brand's inception
This butter sandwich features two layers of rich butter cream and smooth butter caramel sandwiched between two crispy cookies. Made with plenty of butter, it offers a taste and texture that lets you enjoy the flavor of butter itself. The cookies are baked at a high temperature using the traditional Japanese confectionery method "hasami-yaki," resulting in an even crispier texture.
