国学经典。为明代哲学家的语录及论学书信集，为阳明学派的启蒙典籍。该书由其弟子徐爱、陆澄、南大吉、钱德洪、薛侃等整理编辑增补而成。上卷经本人审阅，中卷里的书信出自亲笔，是他晚年著述，下卷虽未经本人审阅，但较为具体地解说其晚年思想，并记载提出的“四句教”。全书包含主要哲学思想，是研究思想及**发展的重要资料。梁启超《国学入门书要目及其读法》称：“读此可知王学梗概。”现以《四部丛刊》本为底本精校出版。
