Define the M-shaped cupid's bow: Draw an M-shape at the cupid's bow, and simultaneously draw a small V-shape at the philtrum. This will create a three-dimensional contour for the upper lip.
Upturned corners of the mouth: For downturned or flat corners of the mouth, slightly lift the corners when drawing the upper lip to create a naturally upturned, smiling lip effect.
Extend the lower lip: Extend the lower lip line outwards, beyond the original lip line, then taper the line inwards to create a fuller, more fleshy appearance.
Blend with a lip brush: Use the included loose-bristled lip brush to blend the drawn lip line inwards towards the inner part of the lips, avoiding outward blending. This will create a natural transition between the lip line and the lip color, resulting in a subtle, almost imperceptible line effect.
